How we work together
Every engagement starts the same way: we establish what is actually happening before anyone agrees what to do about it. What differs is how deep that has to go.
Prices are stated below because hiding them wastes your time and ours. Nothing here is bought from a cart. You send an enquiry, we establish whether the work fits, and then you are invoiced. If it does not fit, we say so.
The Business Strategy Test
Ten questions on how the business is actually run rather than how it looks on paper. You get a strategic diagnosis: where the pressure sits, whether it is isolated or interconnected, and which of the three pieces of work below it points to. Most people should start here.
The Strategy Session
For a business with one identifiable constraint and reasonably solid foundations everywhere else. You verify the problem with us beforehand, then we spend ninety minutes pressure-testing it until the call is actually made. You leave with the decision, not with homework.
Strategic Business Review
For a business where the pressure is broad rather than specific, or concentrated in one area but running across several parts of it. A deep intake, then a written synthesis of what is actually happening, then a live session to agree what you do about it. The written document is the point: you keep it and work from it.
Strategic Advisory
For a business where the problem spans more than one part of the operation, which means it is a pattern rather than a symptom. Six weeks inside the business, scoped to the engagement — funding readiness, commercial restructuring, positioning, or whatever the diagnosis calls for. Scoped after an enquiry, because the work is different every time.
How an engagement runs
One — Enquiry
You tell us what is going on. We read it properly before replying. If what you need is not what we do, we will tell you and point you elsewhere.
Two — Scope and invoice
We agree what the work is, what it costs, and what you will have at the end of it. You are invoiced, and you pay by EFT. Nothing starts before that is settled.
Three — Intake
We go through the business properly: numbers, customers, operations, and the decisions you have already made. This is the part most consultants skip.
Four — The work
Written synthesis, live sessions, and a small number of decisions you can actually act on. Not a sixty-page deck nobody opens twice.
Who this is for
Businesses turning over R50 000 a month or more, with customers and a team, where the thing standing between you and the next level is a decision nobody has made yet.
If you are pre-revenue, still testing whether the idea works, or looking for someone to validate a plan you have already committed to, this is not the right place yet. We would rather say that than take the engagement.
And if you are not sure which of the three pieces of work above fits, take the test. It will tell you, and it costs nothing.
